Homemade DNA Identification
Kit
To
make an identification kit assemble the following per person:
Q-Tip
for cheek swab
Hair
– pull out a few strands including follicle
Fingernails
– several nail clippings
Small
plastic sealable bags – (3) I recommend pill pouches from the drug store
Snack
size sealable bag – one per person
Quart
size freezer bag - 1 per family
Vital
stats –one stats sheet per person – laminated if desired
Seal
all bags and label with individual’s name.
Place in back of freezer.
